Never heard of a 41.
You probably mean 81.

No reproduction 81s that I’m aware of. Occasionally they are listed on the Hamb for sale. Be prepared to have some significant dough tied up in them by the time you find some decent ones then buy the overhaul kits they will need. I got burned by a seller on the Hamb who sold me four from “his personal collection” and two of the damn things had 1” base plates. He said he’d make it right so I shipped the baseplates back expecting him to send me the correct 7/8 plates, he says they never got to his “community mailbox” and that was the end of any “making it right” from that guy. Long story short make sure they have the correct baseplates, I got lucky and Charlie Price sold me the last two originals he had and his stockpile of rare carburetors is massive.

Thanks for the response. To update, I have been offered a manifold and pair of fresh rebuilds for my project on a loaner basis and if I like the results I can then get my own from either of about three sources. So if I decide to pursue this I can get her done for my time only and decide after the fact, if I feel the result is worth the cost. I don't think that I will really pursue it though. I have a block, but cam and the rest of the moving parts for the small amount of gain seems perhaps foolish when I have two cars that run faster than I want to drive them already. Thanks for helping an old guy dream
