need specs. for 41 rear spring

Need the length around the main leaf eye center to eye center.
Is any other year close?

There are probably other's that will fit,42-48, but I believe in actuality each year is different from the factory.

The 41 Ford had various number of leaves depending on the model of the vehicle. This may affect the center-to-center distance.

Well therein lies the problem. This 41 rear was somehow jammed under
my 34 project and driven by the previous owner some 50 years ago.
He used the 34 spring which pushed forward on the rear.
I am going to 3.54 gears and had already bought all parts for rebuild before
realizing that 41 spring may be unique.
The strange thing is with the 34 spring the shackles seemed to be at the proper angle.
All I need is length of main spring eye to eye around the arch and straight across. Also need to know if any other year will interchange.

One thing you must be aware of - '41 springs went through a number of changes. Length, diameter of "eyes" were just two.
The main leaf will swap with any '41 - '48 passenger car. However, to reiterate, the "eyes" may be different sizes.

Since this is to be a 'drive and enjoy car' my thought was to install a
new super-slid type spring. I was afraid that later springs might be too wide/long.
