Default Difference between the two hand brakes 1928/1929

I am wondering is there a difference between the craw foot on a early 1929 pistol grip break handle and the and the squeeze handle late 1928 both are mounted in front of the shifter not the side. And what would be the latest date possible to have the squeeze handle brake.my car was built on February 3 1929. Motor # 924447 thank you for your help in advance and merry Christmas to all

Our January '29 touring car has a firewall date stamping of 1-31-29, and it has the center brake lever, outside door handles, but '28 drum tail light. Hope this helps.
