Hiding Wires
I am going to be installing turn signal lights on my front bumper. Is there a good way to hide the wire coming from the lights on the front bumper brackets or am I stuck using zip ties?

Re: Hiding Wires
Use black cloth covered wires and use friction tape to hold them to the bumper arms.

Re: Hiding Wires
I don't have front turn signals on my front bumper (My front turn signal lights are in the headlight buckets) but on my rear turn signals I used a couple of pieces of double sided velcro ~3/16" wide. As Tom suggested I used black cloth covered wires.
(Excuse the dust, just uncovered the car to take these pictures) |

Re: Hiding Wires
I just put the wires in one of the "slip" on coverings (they are split so you can put a wire(s) inside of them) and then use the zip ties to hold them to the bumper brackets.

Re: Hiding Wires
Black siliicone worked for me. Used zip ties to hold wire until silicone cured then removed them.

Re: Hiding Wires
Like Terry L. I used black silicone adhesive under the front bumper brackets, use masking tape to hold the wires in place until the silicone sets up.

Re: Hiding Wires
For the fog lights I will eventually install, I found some stainless conduit like the headlights and horn have, only longer and skinnier. Haven't got them installed yet, so don't know how it will turn out.
I also have some fabric wire covers like is used elsewhere on the Model A that I have run extra wires in. Looks like it belongs.

Re: Hiding Wires
Original style cloth wire or an old style loom will look period. And regular spring style frame clips can be used and also look period.

Re: Hiding Wires
Thanks for the ideas and pictures! FedEx just dropped them at my door so I guess it's time to get to work!
