Adjusting the accelerator linkage on a 53' Mercury
While searching for a good description, as to how to adjust the accelerate linkage, on a 1953 Mercury to factory specks?
I did find a good description of the proper set up in my 53' Merc-O-Matic, auto trans manual. It mentions a Tool # 77230MAA - 1952-1953 Models. If you have one laying around, in the bottom of an old tool box, could I get an out line of it or what is the dimension, from the part resting on the block, to the pin, since I doubt I will ever find one listed on e-bay. Thanks to 51 MERC-CT, (from a prior post) I am posting a picture of the gauge. Last edited by Merc Cruzer; 06-27-2023 at 06:48 AM. |
