Default 1931 Model A firewall, fuel line

Hello. I am restoring my Model A, in the firewall is a fitting that is brass and i do believe the sediment bowl connects to this fitting. I would like to replace this fitting, because it looks damaged. What is the fitting called?

Oh I see. I see it right above your sediment bowl. Nice car, what year model is yours?

I see you left yours on there, if it is for the vacuum wiper and i am going to use an electric wiper, i was wondering if i should have the fitting removed.
