Default Bolt / Nut tightening torques

I’m still looking for a list of nut/bolt tightening torques for my A. One associate said Less Andrews has a page, but must be a different issue than mine.

If I recall correctly, Volume 1 has torque values on card stock on the last couple of pages in the book.

EDIT:

I was mistaken. The Specifiction Card at the end of Les Andrews Volume 1 does not contain torque values. By the way, you can search for "important errors contained in the les andrews books" on Google, and you will find a VFF link which attempts to document the Les Andrews torque value errors that are scattered across Volume 1.

Be aware the Les recommended torque for oil pan bolts is way off, too much torque. If you torque to his listed , the gasket will squish out and wreck the gasket.

Also, torque on manifolds are high, should be 30- 35 lbs.

I corrected post #2 above.

I think this link may have what you are looking for, but the site is down at the moment, which is odd. That site normally is always up.

https://www.brattons.com/specifications.html

Here is a similar link from Mac's Auto Parts, but the Ford Barn site does not launch the Mac's link correctly, at least for me. I have enclosed the URL in double quotes so that the full URL will display, you can cut and paste (or manually type) the URL into a browser window, and the link should work. You can search for the word "torque" on the Mac's web page.

The Bratton's site is back up. Search for "torque" on the page.

Try https://www.brattons.com/specifications.html

Thanks shew01 - just what I was looking for. My project is on a little delay.....I had an emergency heart (pace maker) installed. My wife won’t let me go into the garage.
