Default Miss Fire Thank You!

Asked about misfiring after a complete tune up with all new electricals and right-on timing. This a follow up and thank you for suggestions.

Suggestion was fuel problem perhaps carb related. Car had stood with full gas tank, and Stabil added every six months, for about 1 1/2 years.

Replaced carb with a Harold Taylor rebuilt which had been on the shelf for several years bought through A&L. Changed to fresh gas, drove about 50 miles much improvement. Took her on a 250 mile tour. When we refilled tank she was purring like a kitten and would sound like a Model A should with full retard and a nice slow idle.

Thank You
