Question Bradley Floor Pans - Is It Still in Business?

Wondering if anyone out there in the Charlotte, NC area knows what the current status of this supplier is. I ordered floor pans for my 1936 3W coupe MANY years ago and have never received them. I was able to at least keep in contact with Paul Bradley by telephone during most of that time. Over the last two years, however, I have not been able to communicate with Paul, despite leaving regular messages on his cell phone. He used to have an answering service (a pleasant Southern lady) who passed messages on to him, but that stopped some years back. I am about 1730 miles away from Charlotte as the crow flies (a lot further as the airplane flies!), so I would really appreciate any updated information anyone could give me. Thanks a bunch!

Kurt - thanks a lot for the info. Do you by any chance still have the phone number they were using when you last dealt with them? I am never sure the phone messages I leave get through to them. Thanks again!

Another Paul Bradley story. Somebody needs to write a book on his business practices.

He does exist. I too saw him AND talked to him at 2021 Hershey.
He is a lot skinnier than before.

That is the contact number listed on his website also. I tried calling that number recently and get the message that the number has been disconnected. I haven't tried the e-mail route yet. I would also like to get replacement floor pans for my car if possible.

Please see TJ's comment in post #6.

Here's a little light reading for you before sending money.

I would like to do an old fashioned transaction, face to face.

That would be the ONLY way I'd go about it . . . cash in hand . . . for parts in hand. Easy Peasy . . . or not . . .

Thank you everyone for the information on Bradley. It sounds like they are still in business, so I guess I will just have to persist in trying to get hold of him by telephone. I was not going to mention this because it is kind of embarrassing, but on Dec 12, 2021 (a couple of weeks from now) it will be 9 (NINE!!) years since I placed the order for my floor pans. Beat that record! I placed the order directly with Paul himself and, at his request, paid him about half of the total tab for parts and shipping when he called me a couple of times over the years and said he had some pieces ready to ship. Then of course nothing happened. I suspect this is a case of the squeaky wheel getting the grease, and, in my case, being so far away and across an international border (USA and Canada) I guess my squeak is not being heard.

Stories like this just aggravate the heck out of me . . . simple failures of Business 101! Treat your customers AT LEAST as good as you'd treat yourself. Best of luck and I hope you finally get your parts. Be forceful and relentless - it may be the only way you'll ever receive anything.

I've come to the conclusion that this guy is an artist, not a businessman. Van Gogh cut his ear off and Gauguin took off for Tahiti; it comes with the territory, I guess.

Guess I got lucky. Bought floor pans for 39 Zephyr in 2004 then again in 2010 and I received them a week after. Sad to hear all these problems. His products are first class .

Paul does have an excellent product, is very personable, and is an avid V8er with a lot of friends. There also seems to be mitigating circumstances, but at the end of the day, if those injured parties don’t hold him accountable, all buyers and sellers and the hobby itself are the big losers.

I have plenty of Paul's '39/'40 pans if anyone needs them. They are from unfinished past restorations of an elderly friend that I am trying to help dispose of some of his stuff. Full and half pans as well as some of the other pieces made for coupes. If you see anything you can use, let me know.
