do both the deluxe and super deluxe bumpers have the ford script on the rear bumpers?

Ive read two different answers to that . Even the 41-48 book doesnt clearly say . My super deluxe tudor has ford on rear bumper with the license plate chrome piece on front

To answer your question, I thought that I would check my photos.
I came up with these rear shots of a 1941 Ford Deluxe and 1941 Ford Super Deluxe, and would you believe, both had an Accessory Centre Bumper Guard.
Can you believe that?

We are in luck. I found these rear shots of a 1941 Ford Deluxe and a 1941 Ford Super Deluxe, and as you can see, both have the Ford Script stamped into the rear Bumpers. I hope that this answers your question.

I have a 41 and it has the Ford script on the center of the rear bumper as well.

Likewise. Don't know if it is correct, but I painted the lettering blue. Did the same on the Ford indented lettering on the hub caps. It is a tedious job, but I like the looks.

I've wanted to do the same was their a particular color blue you chose the fod emblem on my front hood is outline in blue but 90% of the color is gone

I bought the correct blue paint in a small bottle from one of the old Ford parts companies about five years ago. I just looked at most of them and can not find it.

Try nail polish, comes in different hues. Brush in cap.

Not sure if this helps but I was just going through the 41-48 book and realized that special, deluxe and super deluxe have different bumper profiles and overides .

These Accessory Rear Centre Bumper Guards sure must have been popular in their day.
Check out this 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Tudor Sedan.

I think the 1941 thru 1948 Book offered by the V8 Club makes it perfectly clear. Both the 1941 Deluxe and Super DeLuxe have the script. The other difference is the ridge on the Super DeLuxe bumper from end to end. Mercman shows both examples perfectly in post 4.

It appears that the 1942 Ford Deluxe models shared the same Bumpers as the 1941 Ford Super Deluxe models. Check out this lovely example that is a Recent Import into Australia.
