Blocking the Firewall Heater Tube
Been trying to find an easy way to block the firewall heater tube on the engine side during the summer. Had a tin foil cap with hose clamp that worked but looked pretty bad. Did an internet search and found nickel plated (shiny) steel 2" metal snap-in panel plugs from [email protected] for $7.95 for 10 pieces. They look great when inserted in the tube. You need to have 1/2" or so space between your heater and and the tube to get it in place. Thundered down the highway at 50 mph and it stayed in place just fine.

Re: Blocking the Firewall Heater Tube
Remove the manifold cover and clamp on a spray can top. Looks good and fits good.

Re: Blocking the Firewall Heater Tube
Use the plastic endcap from a grease tube. They fit perfectly without the need of any clamps.

Hi Oldgaerz
do you have a picture, please? btw: I stuff a knob of "butter bread" aluminum foil in the front of the entry hole.
