Re: One that came home today :)
Gorgeous car that's in good hands.
I don't know much about the Chryslers or GM's of the 30's era, but I do recall seeing a beautiful Chrysler '30's-ish roadster that had a small golf bag compartment behind the drivers door. It just screamed rich man's car and I loved it! |

Robert,
Since I am partial to '31 Lincolns, my choice of convertibles would be this Waterhouse-bodied beauty. The Waterhouse grandson was a colleague of mine at Ford. |

Re: One that came home today :)
Like the Chrysler of my dreams, this Lincoln is not a mere car - it is stunning artwork.

Re: One that came home today :)
a 90 series! fantastic................ up there with the big boys.
that chrysler has the looks of a duesenberg. also very very nice. once had a 1930 model 58 buick and was the best car I ever owned, till now, I have a model 68 buick. same body style as yours, but not quite as luxurious! My 6 cylinder puts out 100 hp, which I believe your car puts out about 120hp, but you have the 8 cylinders. a great cruiser................. |

The interior is the original with the exception of the left - front seat. This car was purchased from the original owner. In the 1950's, the owner had removed the passenger front seat to stack crates of eggs in the car to go to market. Well, you know what happened ... the seat was lost. As I recall, it took a number of years to find another. That seat came from Canada and again, if memory serves, it was unique to the '31 big series coupes.

Thanks Kube. Stunning! I could easily take a nap on that inviting sofa of a rear seat. It exudes comfort and luxury. They sure don't make'em like that anymore.
