Default 53 ford vicky transmision

Where can I but the seals for a 53 fordomatic. trans mine just dumps Trent fluid out the front seal

Another good source is Fasco Transmission hope i spelled that right they are always
in Hemmings sam

Hi; Just make sure that all parts are kept in the same orientation. I went thru three cores to get a good rebuild result. Newc

Soft Parts are relatively easy to find for the Ford-Merc-O-Matic 3-speed transmission from 1951/54. Hard parts are another matter but used ones are still out there. If its just the seal it won't be too big an ordeal as long as the front pump and torque converter are still seviceable and otherwise in good condition.

Charlie Tranny is another source and he has used hard parts as well.
