29 7 tooth steering column
Hi guys ..Ive gotten another steering wheel for my coupe and while the old one is off I want to change out the cup under the wheel and spark and fuel adjusting rods and what I believe is the quadrant part that the spark rod runs on because all the detents are worn off ...does anyone reproduce this part or is this something I need to get a hold of Berts for . I had the shafts and worm gears out and re bushed and sealed the column but now with a good wheel I dont want to pull it back off . This is on a 29 7 tooth column
thanks Steve |

No one repops the quadraunt. Best to use a saw tooth file and deepen the notches. Rod

Re: 29 7 tooth steering column
I use a triangular file to clean up the notches. It doesn't usually take much. I've discovered that the grooves are often just full of rust and crud, rather than the peaks being worn down.
