Anderson Automotive they made a two piece intake. Besides the four barrel top the design allowed the option of adding a two carb or three carb top to the lower section. If that's the one your looking for I have one available with the four barrel top on it.

Thankyou very much. Be nice to see what's inside. Yes, I know it comes with other covers. What I was interested in was how they did the 180 deg firing order, which I see it is. Tks again.

First one I have ever seen. Looks like the 4bbl is back farther than the current ones available.

My guess, making room to run a generator in the front - like we do on many early V8 cars.

Here's what it looks like inside. Pretty involved for the time which allowed multiple options in how many carbs you wanted to run.

I thought the gen fits straight up on the readily available 4 barrel intakes. Could be wrong.

I love the concept behind the Anderson design. Switch around tops for different applications.

Seems like a smart idea.

Switching around tops
First use the four barrel top for work and economy.
Then switch over to three deuces for those fun evenings street racing.
Good times all around.

Seems like cylinders #4 & 5 would likely run a little leaner than others, as might #1 & 8 also. Quite a novel design, though. DD

What is a little puzzling is that there are only (3) ports being fed by each of the (2) primary venturies. (If so equipped)
It appears that (1) of the (3) ports have to be feeding the forth cylinder on each side.

YES, i saw that, however, I doubt very much if it would bother a street engine, and it is quite rare.

I concur! I'd guess that #5 feeds #1, and #3 feeds #8. DD
