Default F-1 8BA Shakedown Run Part 2

Happy Camper... Got 8BA heads on from fellow in Cali on CL. Very nice just had machinist take .020 off bottom, noticed that all around combustion area was radiused for better flow? Needless to say, when i pulled on to Clyde Rd., for a test hit she has a lot more power than the previous heads even after rebuild? Engine has faster acceleration from the Johnson lifters Throttle response is excellent from the Bubba dizzy and Charlie NY94 Holley carb and fuel pump.Wife was following behind me on the long road, and my speedo said i was doin 65. Front clip will go back on.. and by the way, no leaks!! I have to be at this car show in South Lyon in 2 weeks at this downtown car show that my old truck club Klassic Haulers is sponsered for the evening. Cant wait to make the grand entrance. lol Ken

Looking real nice, but remember there's a few hundred pounds of sheet metal missing that will help performance a lot.
