Default 1932 Steering Column Questions...

Will a 1933/34 pick-up truck commercial steering column assembly fit/work in a 1932 Coupe? What is different besides the steering ratio?
Thank you in advance for your help.

No - the housing that the sector shaft goes through is indexed differently . Pass and pickup are the same in 33-34 except the coulmn drop .

You can put a 32 sector housing on that steering box.The other thing is the 33-34 worm shaft is a bit over an inch longer than a 32.

If you use a truck gear in a car, you must use a car pitman arm to clock correctly. The shaft can be changed in the worm if necessary.
