Default Help in identifying tube with fittings for 1956 Thunderbird

I can’t figure out where this tube is supposed to go. The outside diameter is 3/16”. The length is about 12”. If you zoom in you will see some kind of sleeve that I assume is to protect it from something.

It’s a new part left over and I was wondering if it is supposed to be somewhere I missed.

Can anyone identify it?

That looks like the short piece of brake line next to the steering box. It connects two "T" fittings on the frame, from the brake-light switch block to the "T" that splits to the two front wheels.

I agree it looks like a brake line, since it has the protective sleeve on it too. And I believe it has to be the one dmsfrr showed in the picture above, since it's the only brake line that short.

Thanks. No wonder I couldn’t remember, I did the brakes 2-3 years ago while I was as waiting on the transmission to be rebuilt. If memory serves me, I had some firmest issues and just used the old one or bought a piece locally that U could form to fit.

The one in my photo has a thin metal sleeve on it too, just hard to see. So that convinced me...
