Cluster-Gear Thrust
Is there any published spec for cluster-gear thrust in an early Ford three-speed transmission? I'm curious what a recommended amount is, though I haven't seen an official figure.
Thanks! |

Re: Cluster-Gear Thrust
It will be listed in VanPelts transmission book. Unfortunately I'm not near that book right now. Someone will chime in or you can call Mac VanPelt and he will be happy to advise you. If you don't have Mac's book you should seriously consider it.

Re: Cluster-Gear Thrust
Mac lists it as .005" to .017" end play clearance if that is what you are looking for.
