I have older Blue Point tools that are USA made, so being foreign made must be something recent. Sort of like Craftsman, used to be USA and now foreign.

Blue Point line was intended to be a lesser expense tool line that Snap On has carried for years and well before my time. The Blue Point stuff wasn't always manufactured off shore either. It has been more and more so as the years have gone by though. All the files I've purchased over the past 10-years or so are made in Portugal so you have to look closely to see where it's from.

Their 11406 is the closest to original however I have found you need to replicate the T slot like original for those to work the best. The ones I listed above work fine.
