Default 1930 street scene California

This is from Laurel and Hardy's 'Hog Wild' (1930) looks to have been filmed in Culver City, Ca. Model T's and A's as they appeared in nature!! They sure abused those little Model T's!! Fun to watch.

Funny flick! Thanks. I did see a rather large "Bow-Tie" billboard in the back ground, for a second or two, while they were tooling around....

Well thanks alot...because of your post I spent many enjoyable hours watching Laurel and Hardy, the little rascals, and the three stooges, the "locations then and now" were fascinating.
Being the boss, it's easier for me to get away with that kind of foolishness, made for an enjoyable night...did I say thank you yet?
Well, thank you.

You're welcome Keith. I also found the then and now pictures that somebody posted, of Three Stooges and Laurel and Hardy filming locations it was interesting. I have to admit, the sites looked a lot neater 'back then' than they do today!!

Too hot in the Midwest this week to do much outside so I too have been getting out the Three Stooges (with Curly) and L&H,,,,,fun to watch, and see the antique cars that were new then!

Another fun flick to watch is the Three Stooges in 'False Alarms'. The Fire Chief's new '36 Ford Coupe is a beauty. Watch for the Roadster that almost clips Curly when he's picking up fire hose that a street car ran over! You can see that even a '30 Roadster by 1936 has been taking a lot of abuse and modifications!

To me...
Only three "true stooges"

As the saying goes...You're only original once.

Bonus question, can you ID who's who in the first photo? (don't count the man to the far right)

Yes Donald could certainly have been the fourth stooge! You are very perceptive! Wayne
