Default 34 3w

Our 34 is in the Rocky Nats show this weekend
We drove up yesterday in the rain and roadworks amongst the semi's and caravans
Took some work to clean it up
My daughter in-law Kirra has been the driving force in getting the 34 ready
The 34 has been in the shed since Carol passed away 3 yrs ago
So this weekend is a shake down for the trip to Echuca for the nationals in around 4 weeks
That will be around 4000klmi klm
I know the 34 won't look like this when I get back from there

Nice display -- like the back issues of the V-8 TIMES placed around the display.
Great way to promote the Club.

Lawrie,
We are doing the best we can.
Thank you for the invitation! We have trouble getting 30 miles from home some days!
Hey could you take a bunch of pictures for all of us? It will help make us feel like we are there too.
Will we see you at Auburn in June?? I want to get a picture of you in the ragged old 32 dump truck!
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

Beautifull car Lawrie. I didn't know that you and Carol owned a '34 3window coupe.

Update
Our coupe won an award at the event, 1st place in the custom/classic class
It was on display in the elite hall, these 30 or so cars were hand picked by the organisers from the 1800 entered, the chief judge asked me if it was all steel , when telling him it was completely as it came from the factory other than the blinkers he was impressed and said he had never seen one before.
We had planned to head back home on the Sunday night after the event leaving around 5pm ,but got a notification that we needed to be at the prize giving ,so stayed another night ,and drove home yesterday morning,(Monday)
There were a few other stock old fords ,a model T and a few flat head powered H/rods.
As the 34 has not turned a wheel in 3 years , and I will be driving it down to Echuca for the nationals in a few weeks I need to do a service and oil change, make a cup holder type thing to hold my water bottle , and make up a screen thing for the radiator as it got a few locusts and bugs in the radiator, .
All in all a very nice relaxing weekend.
John, we have owned the 34 for about 25yrs,
Lawrie
