1936 pickup interior material
Is there a source for the "chicken tracks" pattern vinyl material for panels for a 36 pickup? I have purchased the Quiet Ride Soultions plastic interior but it looks too shiny and I would like to cover it with a more correct looking vinyl material. Art

If so, how about (after test fitting) you spray it with flattening clear?

It does have the correct pattern. What flattening paint would work? In previous posts the products mentioned were temporary sprays from hobby shops. Art

Re: 1936 pickup interior material
Rustoleum makes a Matte Clear spray paint which bonds to plastic. You can get a can and try a small area and see if it knocks down the sheen. I got a can at Home Depot for around $7.
I'm considering ordering an interior kit from Quiet Ride and am interested to hear the results of this spray coating if you do the test.

All good points by OldGold360. It's certainly a bit of an experiment to see what works.

Does someone here have a picture of the Quiet Ride interior installed in a truck? Art
