1940 Oil Bath Air Cleaner??
This is the air cleaner that was on my 1941 Ford pickup when I purchased it. I believe that this is the same as the United air cleaner that was used on the 1940, but was hoping to get some feedback on that!
Thanks in advance. Kevin |

Re: 1940 Oil Bath Air Cleaner??
While the center section appears to be very similar to a '40. this assembly is NOT 1940 Ford. No how, no way.
It is no where close to a correct '41 either.

Kube beat me to the answer!! The top appears similar looking straight down on it, but the rest of it isn't close. I can see where it could cause a question to someone not familiar with a 40 oil bath air cleaner. Have NO idea what it actually is.

Update. If anyone has a copy of Ford Closing the Years of Tradition go to page 16...appears to be same as one on the v8 pic. GB
