What to do in Reno?
Hi All,
I am going to Hot August Nights next week in Reno. Besides the cars and swap meet what is there to do? I will spend one day in Tahoe as well. Thanks, Mike

There is a fantastic automobile museum there. We visited it a couple of years back when there for Hot august nights and it is wonderful. Even the wife enjoyed it.
Also lots of cars on display and free entertainment. P.S. I have a 30 Briggs Townsean also. |

The National Automobile Museum is there, which is the remnants of the Harrah's car collection. Still worth seeing.

Quickchange, I am sure you will see me putting around in Barbara. I will probably be one of the few if not the only stock Model A there. Shoot me a PM if you all want to meet up sometime.

Re: What to do in Reno?
I was there last year for Hot August Nights. I have attached a few pictures to give you some idea. There will be somewhere around 5000 old cars and trucks in town. More good food than one can ever eat. Lots of casinos.

Re: What to do in Reno?
I did not see a single stock model A last year. Lots of beautiful cars, but Fords were in short supply.

Re: What to do in Reno?
1930, You won't run out of things to do in Reno for the week, day or night.
With those balmy nights, Hot August Nights is about the best old car orgy you can get.
