Default 29 CC Pickup Top Door Seals

When you look at the tops of the doors from the inside you see a gap over both doors. There appears to be a piece missing below the side wood on both sides. What is missing? I asked this question at Sacramento Vintage Ford last week and they can't find anything in the catalog. I looked at a schematic of the top wood kit and there isn't anything shown.

Any CC pickup folks that can shed some light?
Thanks,

Yes, there is a piece of wood 1/2? by 1/2? by maybe 18inchs? with maybe 4 or 5 holes for screws that goes there. Sorry I am going off memory when I put roof wood in my old '29 pickup, it would be very easy to make.

Yes, there is a wooden trim piece that holds the welting to seal the top of the door. I don't have the exact measurments at the moment but could get them tomorrow.

Marco's great photos show the piece here -

The pieces you require are.
29 3/4" long 3/4" wide 1/2"thick made of white oak
There are five 3/16" holes drilled threw the width on centre.
1st hole 7/8" from the end
2nd hole 7 7/8" from the end
3rd hole 14 7/8" from the end
4th hole 22" from the end
5th hole 28 7/8" from the end
holes are 3/16" counter sunk7/16" wide 1/8"deep for flat head screws
Hope this helps you out
