Brand X test
Interesting brand X test of model A era car.
https://youtu.be/ewsQuEckFCE I think I will sell my model A and get one of those. It should do much better in the Destruction Derby. |

Re: Brand X test
I wouldn't buy a Studebaker. They keep falling over and running into things!
So much for those who say we shouldn't wear seat belts in a car of that age because the body will come off the chassis. I've never paid the slightest attention to that argument.

Re: Brand X test
I didn’t realize that crash testing took place so long ago. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Brand X test
It looks like crash testing started in 1934 by GM.

Re: Brand X test
The high end Studebakers were true classic cars, right up there with Cadillac, Lincoln, and the others. When I was growing up in the 50's a neighbor had a 29 or 30 Studebaker roadster that was really neat. Long hood, low windshield, side mounts, and I think a straight 8 engine. He also had an early Overland touring car (circa 1910) that I also thought was really neat.
Thanks for sharing.
