Up for sale is a mild custom 1939 Ford Standard 2 Dr. Couple with its Original V8 flathead motor and drive line which all has been rebuilt and in excellent condition using traditional parts like all new Tri-power Stromberg 97’s carburetor professional rebuilt by Max from the Ford Barn which seats on vintage Edelbrock manifold also Ford two bolt vacuum advance distributor from Bubbas ignitions also from the Barn, ¾ Street cam with Edelbrock heads .Everything is new water pumps, battery, carburetors, distributor, clutch and pressure plate, tires, brakes, new electrical fuel pumped back by a period correct mechanical fuel pump. Last winter Go Devil in Albany NY installed hi-way gears and all new bearing in the rear banjo axle with new U-joints. The transmission is an early style and was over hauled at the same time. The front axle is the original straight axle but has been dropped 4 “and gives the Ford the correct stands. The Ford has Corker Silverstone radials with white walls .
The list goes on with the upgrades new wiring /12 volt system with 12 V generator/new starter. There isn’t anything to change the Car runs strong and pull the hills well with lots of power. The ford runs down the road straight and steers well. The V8 always runs at normal temperature even on the hottest days. Everything operators as it should. The Ford is as straight as an arrow and there isn’t any rust 100% guaranty, No filler and no lead. The paint is as the day it was laid on her, perfect and beautiful. All period correct all around in and out this isn’t no street rod, this was built in the traditional style and original mild custom Ford for purest only ….
