Door skin
Hi i hope someone can tell me what to do. I am at the point to order a doorskin for my 29 roadster. But if i look at Mac's it will be $265,- and Snyder "only" ask $ 145,-? So a difference of $120,- thats is a huge difference to me. have one off you any experince with one of these skins or are they the same and is Mac's only more expensive?
I did order before by Mac's and Snyder and have no problems with both with shipping etc. i only want the know wich skin is better. |

Re: Door skin
Honestly I doubt you will see a difference in skins . Maybe someone else will chime in . I used skins from snyders and had no problems with them .

Re: Door skin
If you look at a car door (almost any car) you'll see that it is made from two pieces and joined at a seam at the perimeter.
The outer piece is frequently less embossed than the inner and is known in the trade as "the skin." I look apart a Model A truck door attempting to save it. It's amazing how rigid the door is when together and how flimsy the parts are when apart. Joe K

Re: Door skin
If you look a little closer, they are $185 from Snyders, $190 from Berts and $265 from Macs. Where did yo come up with $120.? Just curious.
