I have used Lustrekote on 6 or 7 carbs and it not only looks good it hold up well.

I have used black lacquer with some success.. will stand a bit of fuel exposure, but not long-term.. Also have painter my tillitsons with it as well.. At a glance, it looks 'right' in the engine bay, avoiding the potmetal color under the hood for us semi-purits-tourers (lol)

Tom: PACTRA Aero Gloss JeT Black #63 is what I always use and don't have a problem. I give it 2 coats using a small hobby brush.

Where did you purchase this please?? or email me.....thanks mark

I would be intersted in knowing if this product is still available as well. I have pretty much exhausted my search for this at hobby shops and on the internet. It seems that there are some of the Aero products still available but not in the colors. No one seems to have it, and no one seems to be able to get it. I tried some of the sources that were already mentione in this post.

A local hobby shop had it but said it was discontinued. I'll check the next time I'm in that area to see if they have any more.
