Default Cam swap

I am currently running a max 1 cam. I want to swap the cam. I want to put in a potvin 3/8 super which I have. The motor is a 59 and has a 4“ merc crank and original navarro heads. Would this just be a cam swap or do i need stiffer valve springs? I think the heads should handle the higher lift. Its for a 34 coupe.

It would depend what springs are in it now & what the current spring tension is condition of springs are they already shimmed. You should always check installed height spring tension.
