Default 41 radiator

Has anyone got a pic of how a radiator mounts top and bottom . I have the bolts with the spring for the bottom but am unsure the correct way of mounting it. I have no brackets for the top. Thanks

Don't have any pictures handy but here is how it goes. There are two sets of holes on the frame for radiator mount. I think the front ones are for the 6 cylinder cars and the rear for the V8. Bolt goes up through the frame, then through the rubber pad, then through the mounting ear on the radiator. Then the spring goes on, washer, nut down to where you can put the cotter key. Not real important how tight it is; just so the spring is compressed some.

You can buy the top support brackets. They go from a short carriage bolt in a slot on the side of the radiator, back to a hole on the fender liner. Suggest a piece of cardboard taped over the radiator fins to avoid messing them up from bumping the fan during install.

And actually, if you care for "correct" - the springs are set atop the bracket, not below the frame.
