Howdy wisbangman,

Great looking car. Now I am new to V8's but I thought that a banjo steering wheel, a clock on the glove box and a woodgrain dash finish were features of a Deluxe '39. However, anyway you cut it, that is a fine car.

I really like your car. I like the standard much better than the deluxe. It has much more eye appeal in the front end and hood sides, The color is nice also. You mentioned you had some help in putting the pictures on here, Is their a tutorial that tells you how to do this? I need to learn how to do this myself. Looks as you had good help with the pics.

very nice, we love ours.
I must have gotten cheated, it has one sun visor,no clock, and one tail light, I don't care cause it goes like stink. Still 6 volt with the engine it left Dearborn with.

Wisbang, Chuck and Planojc, Those are really great looking cars. Thanks for posting. I love the 39 Standards. I am a big fan of the 1937 to 1939 field--the highlight of Ford's prewar styling.

Wisbang, That's a great looking 39. What color is that, it looks very close to the paint on my 39 std. (1967 Olds/Buick Antique Pewter). Bozeman Dean, my 39 std. didn't have a Banjo wheel, but it did have a clock and radio (in bad shape). I agree with TonyM and others, 37-39 (std.) were very cool looking cars. Paul Selfe.

It's in pretty bad shape. No floor. The back quarter of the frame is gone. The quarters are real rusty. And all the fenders look like someone took a bat to them. But I have a frame and can weld good. Been trying to get it a while. He is finally realizing its not worth what he thinks.

What color is it? I really don't know. It is between a green and a gray. It was painted this color when I bought It. You probably can't see it { small pics } but there is some type of metal flake in the paint but really a fine metal flake. It gives it more shine but in a good way. I never had any one say " yuk " but then they say your hearing is the second thing to go! This was a New Jersey car, and I had to go get it. It is the perfect driver, which I wanted.

wisbangman: The color looks very much like one that I've known to be Dolomite Gray. It's a gray / green color seen in the Dolomite mountains. The Dolomites are a mountain range located in northeastern Italy, part of the Southern Limestone Alps.
