2013 Old Car Festival at Greenfiefd Village - Random sights...
Since I needed to do a little more research at the Bensen Library (Archives), I thought I would also take in the OCF at the same time. These are just a few of the 600+ pix that were taken. IMO this is by far the best car show type event I have ever attended in my years of attending antique car events. Definitely needs to be on everyone's "bucket list"!!

Re: 2013 Old Car Festival at Greenfiefd Village - Random sights...
And, I'll close with some random shots of cars that I thought were interesting. I have been asked by several today what I liked the best. Riding in a Stanley Steamer was pretty cool, along with riding in several other 1&2 cylinder cars. Seeing & hearing fellow Fordbarner Tim Kelley's massive Model K up close was nice. And actually getting to view so many "orphan cars" being driven around was neat too.
I guess since I can't choose exactly which one, I'll just have to go back again next year and see if that will help me make up my mind!! . . Last edited by BRENT in 10-uh-C; 09-09-2013 at 05:06 PM. |

I have attended many times. When my father was alive he would take one of his brass era cars. Lift the hood, pull the hand crank and the people would come droves to watch the open valve-train engine tick off. Wonderful memories from an annual show that dates back into the 1950's.

Brent or anyone,
Can you tell me what paint colors are in your picture 0814 (in your second posting)? Also there are two pictures (1245 and 1274) are either of these the chicle drab/grey combination? I am still trying to decide the color I want for my 31 Town Sedan. Thanks, |

Nice focus on the commercials in attendance. I think I can't live without an old wrecker after seeing the AA you shared with us. I dunno why, but big commercials seem to trip my trigger and not just Fords. I look forward to the class at Hershey every year.

Brent, what can you tell us about the black sedan? What are some of the interesting things that you noticed about it, I.E. Wheels, Running boards, Doors, etc… ? Did it appear to be a coachwork body or something “custom”?
Thanks for your time and the wonderful pictures. I also liked the fair focus/homage to the AA's.

It is my opinion that the Fordor in picture 1245 is incorrectly painted in Copra, however the Coupe (whose owner is a Fordbarner but I'll keep his name anonymous for now) is the correct color of Copra & Chicle. . |
