Throw-out Bearing Hub & Bearing Retainer - Painted?
I am putting together a transmission for my car and I would like the parts be painted (or not painted) as originally built by Ford. I can not find any reverences in the MAFCA/MARC Judging Standards or the Paint & Finish Guide that describe if the Clutch Release (Throw-out) Bearing Hub and the Bearing Retainer were painted or were left plain. Does anyone know?

I painted mine except the parts that slide for the sake of not turning to rust...i think they are a ford blue? only because I had blue paint handy....That and noone will ever see it. Also I painted the inside of the bellhousing white so when its assembled you can see whats going on in there.
