Default 1930 station wagen, side curtain HELP

I have new LB curtains and fastners, none of the fastners are installed, can I find a pattern or outline of were they go? Hate to drill holes in a new wood body in the wrong place.

Use a needle to poke around through the fabric to find the holes.

Do the curtains already have grommets in them? If the grommets are located in the curtains, I would center the curtains up on the appropriate window openings and then mark the wood where the attaching pins go. If the grommets are not in the curtains, I would install the grommets first, then locate the attaching pins as previously mentioned. My reason for this is once the pins are secured to the wood, it is far harder to mark where the grommets get positioned and install them. If the wood has holes already and the curtains do not have grommets, do what Tom said.

The side curtains are shipped without holes as the original locations for the fasteners tended to vary a bit. The reproduction bodies are not drilled either. It is best to get a pattern from some generous original wagon owner.

Just do a google search for images of ‘30 station wagons and you will see placement on other wagons, pick one you like, start with corners first then evenly space the ones between.

Check with Tim Johnstone with Woody Wagons. He can provide correct measurements.
