Default Jed Clampetts place

His house has been sold.

Rupert was our local newspaper man in the old days. Still owns a farm out of town, where members of the family get married.

Well, the first thing you know, old Lach's a billionaire! Kin folks said 'Lach, move away from there.' Said 'Californie is the place you aught to be!' So he loaded up the yacht and move to Beverly......

Thanks for sharing!

I'd read that the Clampetts Truck was a nod to the one used in the movie: The Grapes of Wrath.
There's a V8 under the Clampetts Truck, Buick I think

If I had Bezos money I wouldn't want to have to deal with all that. Pretty but way too over the top.

Ol Jed was a good shot. What he was shootin at was one of Ellie Mae's biscuits. He hit it alright but the bullet ricochets off and goes into the ground. Ya'll know the rest.

A week on a ride on lawn mower and the wife would need a ride on vacuum cleaner!

A photo of the entrance to Rupert's place, Cavan, taken today and the house. Fairly average for the area. It's an operating sheep station. Nice garden, but fairly average. Been there once. He bought is as a young man in 1966.

I was always of the opinion that the show was filmed at Jed Clampetts personal home.
