Default Gear shift lever 34

Were the levers for 34 chrome,nickel plated or just painted thanks

The one on my NZ 34 looks like a soft dull chrome ,the 33 is the same,but not as nice,suppose its had more use though

It was known as a "Butler" finish which is satin (chrome over nickel).
