Default 32 Headlights

Guys,

I've been trying to figure out what a really nice original set of 32 headlights is worth, but haven't seen anything advertised lately other than repop street rod stuff. What's a really nice complete pair bringing these days?

Thanks in advance,
Deron

I don't have a picture. I'm thinking I want to buy a set for a project but don't know what a fair price would be. If I do buy some I'd want nice originals and not new hot rod stuff.

Thanks, I appreciate that. So maybe $200 - $250 should buy a fairly nice pair of lights?

With a bit of patience, yes. Apart from dents and cracks in the stainless which tend to be obvious, the condition of the inner plain steel ring that the reflector rests on is the key to their condition.

Have you taken a close look at the reproduction '32 headlights? Some of them didn't look that bad and they would be a good bench mark for your pricing.

I picked up a really nice original set for $200.00. That was about 6-8 years ago.

Keep V-8ing and 4-banging!
