Default 1952 Advertising

I found some well preserved original 1952 Mercury advertising for sale on ebay a while back and it finally arrived yesterday. Amazingly well preserved. I've been looking at examples of them for quite a while and finally talked myself into spending the money.

Congratulations Ralph. These old Advertising Brochures are always hand to find and are very collectible.

This 1952 Mercury Monterey Convertible attended the 17th Australian Early Ford V8 Nationals held in Toowoomba 2 weeks back.

Really nice Monterey but what it the little insignia on the lower part of the front fender? I've never noticed that on any other 52s that I can recall.

Good pickup Ralph. Non-original "Y Block" V8 Badge on 1952 Mercury Monterey Convertible.

Probably some personalizing/customizing by the present or former owner.
