Orignal horn
I posted earlier about my early 28 (LATE FEBURARY} ford horn, I'm pretty sure the horn is shorted out because it is causing the negative connector to also become hot , Is there someone that sells the original horns or if not the best supplier of a new one. Rather have a original though. I know this one is a reproduction Thanks Billy

Re: Orignal horn
I have an A&L horn on my pickup. I will have to agree with John. It is absolutely high quality. Best sound of any of the others in our club.

Can you post a picture of your horn and its motor?

Re: Orignal horn
I'd bet you don't need a horn. As I said earlier BOTH connectors will show 6 volts until you push the horn button and complete the ground circuit for the horn motor.
Unplug both wires, then take the wire with voltage and plug it to either terminal. Now take a piece of wire and touch the other terminal to ground. If the horn blows, then it's working fine. |

You can watch this video on YouTube and ask the guy there questions. He answers quickly and may be of help.
