Default 4-banger book

Hi and thanks to all! FYI all of my 4-banger books have been sold, all 1250 of them. To think, I had worried about being able to sell the first batch of 250! I plan on doing a second edition which will be mostly a repeat but with an added chapter on carburetors. This edition is NOT DONE YET. I am still getting an occasional order but am unable to fill them at this time. I will post when they are ready, probably in a couple of months???

Very good, informative book for "Four Bangers". Well worth it. Glad I got a collector's item.

I acquired 3 of Jim's books. One for me, one for a friend, and one for the club library.

Hi Jim, glad you are sold out. It is a great book, I have read mine several times and I look forward to the next one. The "C" grind cam I got from you is running great too. Thanks.

I've thought of doing one on OHV heads but there too many and I have knowledge, and pictures/details, of so few. Probably not going to Bonneville this year but am going to the speedster reunion in Lincoln NE in May.

Jim,

It was nice to see you at the Big 3 Swap Meet. How are you doing on the head? Did you machine it yet?

I don't know how I missed seeing the book for sale but I'll definitly be in line for the second addition. Would be glad to put a deposit or pay in advance if it helps.

David, My first head has been machined, then cut in half to view the innards. cc'ing the chambers showed too high compression so am having the pattern maker slightly enlarge them. First one was done and OK'd by me on Wed. Patterns should be done next week. He suggests having another 2 or 3 done, inspecting them, and then go into production. Not sure I want to cut another casting, it is hard on my wallet. I hope to have a few done to take to Lincoln in May, not sure if there is time? I may be looking for a good machinist?
