Default Got My Body Installed on my Frame

I have a hot rod project build thread on the HAMB (link below) and I thought I would post a couple pics of the body. I bought just the body from a restored car that was blown apart for a rebuild that never happened. Full mohair interior, glass all window mechanisms and garnish moldings, dash and firewall. Car was painted the two tone Brewster/Apple green and is all virgin Henry steel and no Bondo anywhere. It was advertised here on this forum. It is now installed on a strengthened stock frame that is modified for my Nailhead/5-speed, 9", dropped axle, f100 front brakes, and 36 rear radius rods.

I expect some of you will be disappointed as to its new home but I am leaving the body entirely stock, no chopped top, no holes plugged, I sold the original firewall to a restorer and I will use the stock dash and seat. Just saying so you know where I am coming from ...

From what you describe, I'm glad you got it instead of some Boyd lover. I'm a big believer in not doing anything that can't easily be undone. Nice!

Love the nail head, with its low end torque you will be burning the tires up in a hurry.

Thanks, G-man - I've got a late 50s early 60s vibe going on with this build and I can't wait to drive it!
