I was not able to find the tape and had it hand painted. I am now glad I went with the paint. It looks truly professional.

Wayne I completely agree but I am stripping and painting the car this fall and do not want to spend $200.00 on a hand painted pin stripe. If I can not find tape will leave plain.

Check with your local auto parts stores. Also they sell pin stripe tape where you pull the thin tape out of the center, then spray or brush that thin line, then pull the wide tape from the top and bottom of the line.

You might also want to try pin striping yourself. I haven't tried it yet, but someday I will give it a try.

That is exactly what it cost me. After it was completed a guy from a local car club said they have members that do it for $25 plus the paint. Good luck my friend !

Tom is right. The "stencil" type of pin striping works great. I haven't done it on the "A" but I have used it on modern cars. I even did the Ford Taurus in a double stripe and it looks very professional. I brushed it on and by the time I got all around the car it was dry enough to put on another coat.

Try a body supply store that sells paint. 3M makes a pull apart stencil tape that works great. I used it on my roadster with stellar results.

Check with an auto parts store, or a body shop supply store. 3M makes pin striping tape in such a wide variety of colors, you wouldn't believe. The stores don't carry every color available. I'm sure they have something close to apple green.

Best Regards,
Stew
