Help with Headlight plug- how does it fit?
Hey Guys- I am a new Model A convert and am wondering how to determine the correct way this plug inserts into the headlight socket? I kinda felt a slight dimple inside the socket- but it didn't seem like much.
Thanks for any help here, Jim

Mine only go in one way and are clocked correctly. Not sure if it is the dimple or something else inside the socket, just insert in into the socket and with light pressure you should feel it hit the right spot and fully enter the socket.

OK thanks – I'll just keep trying to fit it in. Is there anything that holds this triple sided plug into the socket? I know Model T's had a locking pin – but I can't see anything on my chrome cap to lock.

The plastic or bakilite wire holder has a slot that lines up inside the socket, the collar by your middle finger will have 2 detents that line up and twist CW, some times they are worn and have to be reset. A little bulb grease helps a lot.
