Default Looking for 1936 ford truck floor mat

I'm just about finished with my truck restoration and I'm having zero luck finding a 36 truck floor mat. Does anyone know where to buy one or what material I could order from someone like labarron Bonnie and make it myself?

Thanks

Joe's Antique Auto lists a mat for later p/u's without holes which says it can be used for earlier trucks. I used one in my '39 p/u and I'm very happy with it. I'd give Joe a call and discuss itr with him. If he doesn't think it will work he'll tell you.

Many years ago I ordered a floor mat for a 36 pickup. The mat they sent was for a later model, I don't know what but I had to cut a hole for the starter switch and put that piece into the hole for a dimmer switch. A little trim around the steering column and it's done. Looks great. Would a 36 car mat fit with some trimming at the seat end?

We went thru this a couple years ago with our '36 pickup.

Obsolete Ford in Oklahoma City USED to carry them, but they told me they do not any longer.

We cut out a template of cardboard, got a chunk of rubber mat from Farm and Fleet the kind you stand on, on concrete, and made our own. Turned out pretty nice actually and only cost a few bucks. Throw a couple single floor mats on top and nobody really notices it.

It will do fine until someday if anybody ever tools up for an original looking mat.

After considering various options and hoping that a custom fit option would emerge (to no avail), I went with the "V44023 Rubber Floor Mat w/No Holes w/Backing" from Mac's for my 38. After preparing a template and some careful cutting, it fit well. Pleased with appearance also.

I also used the black mat from Joe's Antique Auto in MA (p. 137 of their current catalog), with a little careful cutting of the holes it works well enough though clearly not the original pattern (which I think was little "stars" if memory serves when I asked about it; Jerry Grayson/Lawson Cox would know). I previously had a different cut-to-suit mat from C&G which I liked better but unfortunately they no longer carry it;it eventually cracked and fell apart from age and use

Thanks for the feed back. I ended up getting one from Joes based on the feedback above.
