Default Re: Engine Steady Rods

I received a set of the brackets from Mark that work well. When I go to put the engine steady rod in I’m about 1/8 of an inch away from being able to get the bolt in through the frame. I thought about loosening the 2 transmission bolts and the 2 motor mount bolts and prying the whole engine and transmission forward enough to get the bolt in. Before I did that I thought I’d ask if I was headed down the right road.

I had to do the same thing on my 39 and worked out fine.
