Re: Official Ford Barn '36 Ford Roadster Pic Thread
Here's my 36 roadster Bambalina Blue an Easter color for 36.
This one has an original 36 Columbia. I have owned it 30 years. A friend of mine has a 36 Washington Blue roadster for sale. It is almost a perfect car. He can send pictures [email protected] G.M.

Re: Official Ford Barn '36 Ford Roadster Pic Thread
Saw Grant at the Springfield, Illinois meet in 2014. His car was out of commission and he wasn't planning to come at first and Ken B. persuaded him to come and loaned him his '36 Roadster to drive while there. Now while Ken was at the 2015 ENM in NC, he had his eye on a nice '35 Roadster police car. I thought for a moment he was going to try and drive it out of the Transportation Museum, but apparently he gave up on that idea .

My car was out of commission too. We had a pretty good time on the Tour. Ken is a great guy for letting us use his car. Met this guy from Maryland while I was out there. |

Yep, I see Glenn Sanders walking back there. Good times at the meets. Really love seeing all the Fords and meeting the members.

Re: Official Ford Barn '36 Ford Roadster Pic Thread
Here's my 50 footer, with 40 year old failed lacquer paint. Running a 21 stud LB, single carb with correct Columbia 35/36 housing no factory controls, works great, with a dual tank switch. Also has Hydraulic brakes with master cylinder in the way of that fun under floor battery location which has been moved to the engine compartment, in violation of all that is holly.(but I didn't drill any holes, used what was there, and I keep my hood closed) I've driven this car almost daily all summer and Nov and Dec top down, it's been warm and sunny. Another reason I moved the battery, I have to play musical chairs with the batteries, My building is too small, to get at one car I have to move three others and some cars have to share batteries. I don't have an isolated photo of the roadster yet.

Hi Gordon. I would also like to see more pictures of his cars and his parts! The inside of that building looks like a time capsule of old Ford goodies!

Re: Official Ford Barn '36 Ford Roadster Pic Thread
Please do Partsman. That would be very cool and make a great thread. Maybe some other members would join in and post pictures of their collection of cars and parts on the same thread.

Re: Official Ford Barn '36 Ford Roadster Pic Thread
Hi Everyone, This one was spotted at the York PA NSRA StreetRod Nationals this past year. Word was that it made people talk at the LA Roadster Show earlier in the year.
Not exactly my cup of tea. Was built to recreate a dry lake racer. To say a lot of work was done and a pickup bed full of money spent, doesn't do it justice.

Re: Official Ford Barn '36 Ford Roadster Pic Thread
I really liked that '36 Roadster shown above at the York, Pa Street Rod Nationals this past June. It was on display Thursday right across from where our group sets up their trailers at the host hotel on Locke Road, and again on Friday at the Fairgrounds where we usually park our cars and have our canopy tents set up. I talked with the builder a couple times about how and why this car was built, and it was an interesting story to say the least. I asked him what condition the sheetmetal was in at start of this project, and you would not believe how poor it actually was. He did not start this project by acquiring a high point, high $$$$ restored Dearborn award winning car as many would have assumed.
This car was definitely built for some high speed runs on the Salt!!
