Default Brake question

I hope I don't wear you all out. Are the 4 ea 51 7/16" brake rods all suppose to be straight? I got a couple with slight bends in them.

i'm just an amateur but i found my bent rods were very simple to straighten with my bare hands. it is so easy that i doubt introduced any metal fatigue.

As soon as the brake is pressed the rod will straighten out as the are under tension. (they pull)

That said....it is a whole lot easier to get the brake adjustment spot on if you do not have the rods changing lengths depending on the amount of tension on them.
