Default Fordbarn Shirt, Poster

ALL: Over the past several years, I have observed several Fordbarn Family discussing Fordbarn shirts, etc. Years ago, under the tuteledge of Shelly, Fordbarn shirts as well as a poster, made from photographs of members vehicles were available. I purchased a number of these shirts and posters: yesterday, I discovered a Fordbarn shirt (I had assumed they had all been worn out and discarded); as well, I have the poster framed and mounted on my garage wall. My attempts to post pictures have met with dismal failure, so I have enlisted the aid of V8coopman, who will shortly post the pictures. This in no way should be construed as anything other than a history lesson ..... And may be of interest to some of the Fordbarn Family.

And below, friends, are pictures of the FordBarn shirt and the FordBarn iteration of The U.S. Flag from the "Ms. Shelly" era that Marcus has so graciously elected to share with our Group. A lesson in history, indeed! DD

Holy Cow! I have 2 of those posters in mint condition. My Dad must have bought them as both our '32's are in/on it. They've been rolled up safely in the closet all these years. Dad passed in 2016 and though we knew about them never knew where they came from. Many thanks to Marcus for the history lesson and Coop for posting the pics. Does anyone know of the approximate year these were produced?

Tom - I don't recall the exact year, but I think Shelly sold Fordbarn in 2010; I recall we had a Fordbarn meet in 2009 (in Auburn?), and I had them at that time. I am guessing 2007 or 08 - I do know that I was also blessed to have my '47 Pickup included on the flag, and I purchased that vehicle in 2005.

Thank you Marcus.
It would be interesting if any members whose cars are on the flag would post that information. Might be fun to start a list of participants if there is any interest. Just a thought.

Pulled them out of the closet. Lighting isn't good for the flag. This is what's on the back.

The poster was masterfully composed of hundreds
of small pictures members submitted. They were arranged based on color to emulate the stars and stripes. I took some close ups with my minimal skills. This was a composition technique I've seen in art before. Where or when I don't recall.

One more from slightly further back. Perhaps V8Coopman can enlarge it. Anyway, you get the idea. It's very interesting and entertaining to view. I recall the art world got publicity when this technique was published. A big picture made of small pictures.

I may be willing to work with folks to make the shirts. My wife and I own / operate an embroidery shop and could easily duplicate the design.
I'm also in favor of donating the proceeds in order to maintain this forum.

What I'd like to get a decent consensus on is what type of shirts would be most popular. Tees? Polos?

Very cool. Thanks! Sometime this week, I'll set up a survey to see who would be interested in getting a shirt. I'll check with Ryan to make sure he's cool with it as well.

Anyone here a graphic designer? It may be cool to update the design a bit if that's not too much trouble for printing/embroidering.

I am able to replicate Ryan's design. I would of course like his permission to use his design and perhaps make these shirts available.

Very, very cool, Kube: as always, ready to step in and help! And I know your gracious wife would be all in, as well! ( Assuming you can get her off the horses, of course)! I much prefer a polo style, and certainly willing to pay the price (but will make a formal vote when the poll is introduced).

Awesome Guys. Can we use the newer logo from the website to top left corner?

Yep. I wanted to check with Ryan first and then we'll go from there.
